"ECWR’s philosophy is to be inclusive. The Bible reveals God as not limited by gender but as all encompassing. Following this example, we are attempting to become more inclusive in our expression. We therefore have adopted the following position paper as a foundation to fulfill this desire."

ECWR Inclusive Language Position Paper

All ECWR written materials will be inclusified, absent of biases with regard to gender, age, physical ability, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity. We encourage individual members to use inclusive language and be sensitive to their own biases and prejudices.

We, ECWR, do not promote randomly changing the Bible or doctrine solely in order to fulfill inclusivity.

Though we seek to use inclusive materials, such as songs, poems, and essays, we do not support changing copywritten materials without permission. We encourage the creation of new works incorporating inclusive language.
